Ashlı Sydin

Ashlı was raised as the only child of Elcin and Farah Sydin, the co-owners of a popular restaurant on Earth. Despite being a bright and capable young girl, Ashlı’s personality could best be described as ‘difficult’. Her parents struggled to discipline her due to her academic success – she consistently produced high grades and was well liked by her teachers.
As Ashlı grew older, she quickly realised that stepping into her mother’s footsteps wasn’t appealing to her. Instead, she secured an apprenticeship at an Embassy, where she gained valuable experience in diplomacy and intercultural communication. It was this experience inspired her to pursue a career in Starfleet. Despite the challenges of adjusting to life at Academy, Ashlı excelled in her studies and quickly made a name for herself as a talented and dedicated cadet, and eventually climbed the ranks as equally well-regarded officer.
