If it moves, you can be pretty sure that Eyma has been behind the wheel, stick or console of it. You can also be pretty sure she’s crashed it at least once. The daughter of a daredevil Orion mother, who toured the quadrants showcasing her piloting talents, and as she watched from the stands, she would zoom and twist and tumble alongside her mother’s acrobatics, a singular truth emerged: Emmy is only ever happy on the move. A trait that in her early years of Starfleet Academy earned her more than one demerit for causing ‘disruptive noise’ in the quiet libraries. It took several accidental stumbles into the various ponds around campus, her attention lost in a textbook, for the young woman to realise that it wasn’t just a fidget or impatience; her brain worked better when her body moved. After that, nothing could stop her and she began her own tour of the quadrant, her mother’s daredevil spirit at her back and her picture hidden in her pocket. If it moves, Eyma moves with it.
