Grant Burton

Grant was born on August 25, 2336 on Earth. His parents were both civilian workers for Starfleet. Grant began a summer job with a transportation company when he was 15 years old and, having shown no interest in Starfleet, had stuck with it. When Grant turned 20, his uncle announced the he was joining the organization and tried to talk Grant into it as well. Grant still wasn’t interested and stuck with the job he already had. Grant worked his way up to a shuttle pilot and over the next few years, he found himself becoming more and more interested in Starfleet as his uncle regaled him with story after story. At the age of 23, and with the recommendation of his uncle, he finally took the entrance exam and left for the Academy to begin his next adventure. During his time at teh Academy, he majored in Piloting: Major Ships and minored in Tactics: Combat, Introduction to Starship Combat.
