Summary
Rachel Garland was on a steady pathway to her own starship command before the events of Frontier Day devastated the ranks of Starfleet. With Starfleet Command desperate to find commanding officers for its ships and spreading what experience there is thin, Rachel’s upward trajectory was accelerated and the centre seat of the USS Perseus was pulled out for her.
