Takemura Masaru

Captain Takemura Masaru is the commanding officer of the starship Renown, a role he has held since 2380. He is a stern, taciturn commander with an excellent tactical record who has more than earned the respect of his crew, many of whom have been serving with him for years. Even as his peers have advanced into flag ranks, Takemura has stubbornly resisted promotion, preferring to remain where he feels he is the most effective: on the bridge of the Renown.
