Shana 'Astris' Galihai

Born to long-haul deep space traders, Shana still claims she is far more comfortable in Zero-G enviroments than on the normal planetary gravity aboard ship. So much so, that more than once she has been caught deactivating the deck plating in the workshop as she tinkers on her current project. Kind to a fault, she has quickly become the quasi-mother of Heliades squadron and acts as a patient counterpart to her hot headed commander. Coming to Starfleet later in life she is filled with wordly stories and experience, and her council has been sought by those in the big seat more than once.
