Promoted to Commander

• Kitahashi has served as the Task Force Executive Officer of TF72 since December 17th, and in that time he has been been a good example to other members on how to participate well and often in the fleet’s competitions, activity that largely served as the basis for his recent Meritorious Service Cross. He has been an excellent sounding board on the task force staff, as we figure out how to involve the staff and members more in both the task force’s competitions and activity more generally, and I have been impressed at how he’s stepped up in recent weeks. For this service and activity, I am pleased to recommend Kitahashi for promotion to the rank of Commander.
