Since his last recognition on May 19th, Kitahashi has continued to be an important part of Task Force 72, first as Task Force Executive Officer, and in recent weeks as Task Force Commanding Officer, during which time he contributed a competition to the most recent TF72 event week. He has also helped junior officers move through the promotion process and has been there to encourage his unit to participate however they can, where they can. Kitahashi has also earned an Action Medal with Planet cluster, which shows that he is himself participating in our offerings. For his unit leadership and activity, I am pleased to nominate Kitahashi for the Medal of Achievement.

Justification

During his time as the Task Group Commanding Officer of Task Force 72, Josh (or Kit as he is better known by) has been adamant about doing what he could to make the Task Force run more smoothly. His constant stream of input, steadfast willingness to be involved, and his determination to make a positive impact on the Task Force have been greatly appreciated. It has been a pleasure working with him since his appointment as Task Group CO, and his service is deserving of some small recognition in return.

-Captain Jonathan A. Bastin, Task Force 72 Commanding Officer
