As a member of the new member team from November 18, 2020 to March 21, 2021, Angel served as an important and welcoming presence for new members in the fleet. In that time, 12 members were promoted to Ensign, and approximately as many also achieved various stages within the cadet ranks. Without her answering questions for new folks and contributing to the activity reporting, this would have been a much slower process for many new members. Indeed, many of these members have already gone on to achieve staff and Bravo Fleet Command Roles. For her work on the New Member Team, I nominate Angel for the Medal of Achievement.

In the time since her last promotion Angel has been very helpful, jumping in to serve as a Staff Assistant for New Members while still being a relatively new member herself. She has been consistently friendly and welcoming with new folks, while also demonstrating a good level of activity of her own: having earned two Duty Ribbons, nine Service Ribbons, and two Combat Action Ribbons. She has been supportive of our community and especially our new members with tremendous enthusiasm. Because of her activity and because of her work for the Operations department, I am pleased to nominate her for the Medal of Achievement.
