It is common knowledge that much can be done in a short amount of time when you put your mind to it. Jon Bastin is a shining example of just that. Although real life may have interfered with his fleet activities more than he would have liked, Jon returned, exploding with activity in just a single week.

In the past week, and since his last award of recognition in September, Jon has managed to not only participate in a single competition, but also took first place in that very same competition earning himself an Action Medal with Galaxy Cluster. He has earned a Duty Ribbon for a joint post with Kai from Task Force 17, and has also earned an impressive 43 Service Ribbons amounting to approximately 10,750 words of fiction. No small feat in such a short amount of time.

It is my hope that we may continue to see exceptional levels of activity such as this from Jon in the weeks and months to come and is with great pleasure that I hereby nominate Jon Bastin for the Meritorious Service Cross. Congratulations!

Justification

Not only did Mark, otherwise known as Captain Nathan Cowell, create an active simulation within days of being granted a position within Task Force 93, but since then his sim has churned out over 50 detailed, solid posts for half of his first mission to this day. He performs an exemplary job and is without a doubt one of the finest CO’s within the Fleet. He deserves this for his endless work and creativity, as well as his dedication to his players.
