I want to recognize Shenmi, aka Lt. Cmdr. Niun for developing a custom race (the Mri) with a well-thought culture that meshes very well with the Star Trek universe in ways that many fan races fail to do. In addition, his first post was a fascinating and intriguing look into this character’s psyche that showed us a lot about him and led us to want to know more.”

This month, the command staff have awarded Player of the Month to Patrick G/ConfusedFire, who plays Lieutenant JG Vadar Tajax. Through all the stuff that has been going on, he has kept the Discord channel goofy and fun! Congrats, Patrick!

Jonis is new not just to the Indigo Rose, but this type of role-playing and writing all together. This has not stopped him from committing to the sim, answering tags and finding ways to get involved, asking questions whenever stuck or needing guidance.

LTJG Taltos has created quite the storylines as our Assistant Chief Engineer. She quickly jumped into our story by getting involved in our investigation to the missing Doctor, leading JPs, and creating an NPC of her own as our Yeoman.

Lieutenant Commander Matthew Clayden serves on the USS Infiniti, a ship with a combat-oriented mission and captain, yet he is an engineer, not a soldier. In his writing this month, Clayden did a great job writing his interactions and interplay with his new Commanding Officer.
