“Got it. Initiating docking sequence…Killing main engines and using momentum. Culver City will acquire us with docking tractor beams in three…two…one….” A thump reverberated throughout the shuttle as they were captured by Culver City’s docking tractor beams. A few minutes later, his instruments showed a clean dock. “And we’re good. Let’s head aboard.”

“Sounds good, I might swing by their sickbay and have a chat with their CMO before we head back to the Soval, if you don’t mind a quick detour.” The exocomp remarked as she made her way to rear ramp.

A pair of alerts drew Tiza’s attention.  “All of Blythe’s remaining shuttles have docked, save the Irrawaddy; they plan remain on station,” he said.  “And it sounds like Blythe’s crew won’t need billets after all; Soval says they have room for them all.  Also, Captain Tyler’s asked that you come and meet with him before the conference begins.  He says, ‘bring that canister he asked you to prepare’.”

K’lev smiled as he recalled Tyler asking him to prepare a liter of pure liquid latinum.  “Tell them I’m on my way.”  He stood, turning to Lieutenant Ophelia Lotharys at Sciences.  “Ship’s yours, Lia.  Should be a good one,” he said with a chuckle, before heading to the turbolift.  Right before the doors closed, he addressed Tiza.  “Make sure that canister meets me in transporter room 1, please,” he added, then the doors swished closed.

It was a swift ride to the transporter room.  When he entered, K’lev found a pair of crewman standing on either side of a sealed canister, a sight which drew a satisfied nod from the Orion.  “This our little present?” He asked.

One of the crewmen nodded.  “Yes, sir,” she replied.

“Excellent!  Put it up on the pad, so we can get the party started.”  With that, K’lev stepped up onto the transporter pad.

The crewmen carried the canister, noticeably straining as it was an heavy object, over to the pad, placing it next to K’lev before stepping away.  K’lev then nodded to the transporter chief.  “To the Soval; they’re expecting me.  Energize!”  With a wash of energy and a hum, the commanding officer of the Culver City and his valuable carry-on dematerialized, appearing a moment later on the Soval.
