“Sigh.” Abby grew agitated. She was trapped. She knew flying directly into their space was a bad idea. Now they were trapped in a Myrak Patriarch prison. “Chris this was a stupid plan. Next time lets leave the special missions to those who know what they’re doing.” she spoke blatantly.
“Abby!” Ael was shocked.
“It’s true Ael, Chris had no business accepting this mission. All he has done is signed our death warrants.” Abby grew more agitated.
“Still, you do not need to say it aloud.” Ael said, “What happened to loyalty to your team leader?”
“Nice try you two, but the Myrak are the Telepathic Kzinti… they can sense deception very easily.” Chris spoke up.
“Damn.” Abby calmed down.
“We attempted deception?” Ael questioned.
“Well Abby did,” Chris laughed. “You okay there Frances?”
“Yeah, scared, bit tired.” Frances replied in short spurts.
“Why don’t you try and get some rest.” Abby said to the young man.
Moments later there was an alert that sounded. “Intruder – all guards to their stations.”
The sound of phaser fire came from down the hallway screaming and grunting. It sounded quite exciting. A middle aged human stopped infront of the cell and looked at the foursome. “Need a way out?”
