As the ship flashed to yellow alert, the Commander waited for her answer.

“Commander, the Nymvok launched a shuttle.” Talat reported from the Operations Console.

“Tractor them,” Meila ordered. “I don’t want any interference until I have answers.”

The Nymvok remained silent. The Sirelian’s looked up.

“They are a humanoid colony, all attempts to make contact have failed. Nothing is known about them, unfortunately the incident, we mustn’t blame one another. We had no control of anything.” the Sirelian pleaded.

“What is this Incident? What really happened?” Kas asked.

Taken aback they both looked at the young lieutenant. “She is very keen.”

“It is a talent of hers, so what of this incident?” Meila continued.

“All I know is that there are more to the answers you are looking for on Vareen IV, a scientist.” the Sirelian said.

“Mute channels.” Meila turned to Kaslad, she nodded.

“They are telling the truth Ma’am, they don’t know the exact details.” Kas said, “They are telling us everything we they seem to know.”

She looked over to Idris, “You want the ship or the Wave Rider?”

She trusted Idris, he would protect their crew, at all costs. He had the ability and the charisma to get out of any situation. That is why she requested that he was her First Officer.

“You just want to take out the Captain’s Yatch don’t you? If it is alright, I will goto Vareen IV.” Idris said.

“Very well. Re-open the channels.”

“You are welcome to join us on the planet’s surface, however, we will be leading the investigation. Any deviation, will not be taken lightly. Co-operation is a must. We have a mystery on our hands, and I am curious on your governments hands on all this, or you can join my first officer on Vareen IV. We have preparations to make. Please let us know soon.” Meila informed them.

She really did wish this headache would go away.

The commlines closed. “Alright Folks, Aiyana, Minara, Greva and T’mal you are with me. T’mal and Greva make the necessary preparations, we will be taking down the Wave Rider, meet there in 25 minutes. The rest of you, be careful.”
