USS Pioneer: Welcome Aboard
After receiving a year long retrofit, the U.S.S. Pioneer is assigned a new commanding officer with a familiar mission: to seek out new life, and to boldy go where no one has gone before.
Initially set to be mothballed, the U.S.S. Pioneer was saved when Captain Kosev Thiren made a personal request to the Task Force 47 Commanding Officer, Fleet Captain Alexandra T’Rin Sudari-Kravchik, to assign the vessel as his primary command. After his request was granted, the Pioneer then spent the next year in spacedock retrofitting all the onboard systems with current year technologies. Finally, the ship is now ready to resume her previous mission of exploration; Captain Thiren and the crew of the Pioneer set out to boldly go where no one has gone before.
