As the Romulan Star Empire begins to implode and territories declare independence, the USS Atlantis is dispatched to oversee the world of Daloon IV, who has requested support completely independent of the other worlds of the Velorum Sector. All intelligence points to a relatively peaceful situation on the ground and for a newly commissioned starship, its hoped to be an easy posting. Perched on the edge of the Velorum Sector, the two job is two fold – mediate and assist the populace of Daloon IV in these times of change as well as provide support for other starships operating just inside the Velorum Sector. Sometimes, it’s hoped, that just being nearby is enough to convince the foolhardy to rethink their actions.
