An epic storm, known as the Century Storm, has engulfed the Paulson Nebula. With countless Federation worlds in its path, a massive response has been authorised by Starfleet. Among those tasked with responding, the Santa Fe is recalled from Deep Space Nine to head up a small task group headed to the planet Sathea on the nebula’s westernmost edge.

The Federation science station on Sathea IV is in the path of the storm, its team are planning to survey the phenomenon from inside. When the scientists refuse to leave their posts, citing the information that they gain will be invaluable, Captain Farrell reluctantly agrees to render assistance. If their plan is to work, the physical structure of the station will need to be reinforced and the shields significantly uprated – all before the storm hits…
