Gaming Blitz – Easter Edition!

Description

Having a gaming event during the Easter weekend seems fitting, do you not agree? The term “Easter egg” comes to mind, since that was literally popularized by a video game – Adventure for the Atari 2600 in 1980, which has a fascinating history if you want to read up on it.

This competition is going to be a little hunt for an Easter egg of your own. Participants are going to be showing us the Easter eggs they find in any game of their choosing, be it an officially supported game or not – we will accept Final Fantasy XIV equally as we would Star Trek Online around here – along with a description of why it is an Easter egg. After that, then you need to collect something else in your basket – action ribbons – to get the chocolate bunny at the end. Or is it a medal? Eh, close enough.

Criteria

  • Submit an original screenshot of an Easter egg you have found in any game you can find to this competition to show that you are competing.
  • Winners will be determined by the count of the Action Ribbons in one's basket, submitted during the run time of the competition.
  • Only members that have submitted an Easter egg screenshot may have their ribbons counted towards the competition.
  • Each action ribbon counts as a point, and those that have the most points... wins.
