The First Frontier
Description
Our characters explore, and since the beginning of Star Trek we’ve seen people seeking out new life and new civilizations. The thing we haven’t seen much of, is their first day on the job, when their skills as an explorer are turned inward towards their new ship.
Maybe you’ve just spent your prestige points on a new command, or maybe a character is remembering their first day on an old command. Now you get to write that experience of showing up the first day, arriving either on a shuttle or by transport and seeing their new ship. Whether they’re an engineering ensign, or the commanding officer how do they feel as they settle onto the ship/starbase. What do they do? How do they make this new command home.
Write an entry with one of your characters, or someone on your command, first exploring and settling into a new assignment. The assignment can be one of your contemporary commands, or a ship they served on in the past.
